My Weekend

My weekend started as soon as I got out of class friday. I started packing for my trip that weekend. By the time I got everything packed and ready to go it was time to attend a date party. My girlfriends sority had a date party at the groove that night, but everyone was going to go out and eat before anyway. We went to la viesta and grabbed a few margarita's and some food and hung out there for a bit. We then left and headed for the house where we piled on the bus and headed out. The date party was pretty good at first it was a little rough it seemed kind of like a middle school dance then once everyone started to loosen up a.k.a. get drunk, everyone started dancing and having a blast we stayed there till about 12:30 i beleive and then piled back on the bus and headed back to campus. After we arrived back we left her house and went to sleep knowing we had a big day the next day. Saterday morning roles around and we get up around 8 so we can be out of here no later than 9:30. We get one the road in perfect timing. It was quite a drive up there especially since she got to sleep most of the way. We arrived in Hattisburg at around 2 p.m. and checked into our hotel. The hotel was pretty nice it was more geared towards business visits though, but it was more than ok. After getting checked in and unpacked we headed towards downtown. We were starving so we hit up rondevous resteraunt which is the best dry rub ribs in town. The resteraunt is in a little ally next street over from beale st. After dinner we headed over to beale st to listen to some music and grab a few drinks. We went into a couple of places and heard some really great blues music. After a while she was hungery for some dessert so i took her to Blues Cafe on beale which has some really great apple pie. Anyway we stayed on beale for a good bit then she spotted some people on the carriage rides so automatically she decided she wanted to ride so we went over to the peabody hotel and grabbed one they were kind of pricy though they were 45 dollars for a half hour. Around 1 or 2 in the morning we headed on back to the hotel and caught some shut eye. We woke up the next morning and headed back down town for a bit to look at the city some more she had never been to memphis before this weekend. So we toured the city alittle bit showed the a crack head on each and every corner haha. Anyway well we headed out around 2 back towards jackson. We stopped in Madison for a bit to grab a late lunch with my family and i had to help them drag a couple of tree's out of the back yard. When i say tree's i dont mean little saplings they had several oak tree's cut up that they wanted me to carry to the front. anyway after that we headed back to hattiesburg just in time for our greek meetings.
